Justina Semcenkaite

Justina Semčenkaitė is a trained fashion designer and a researcher. She obtained Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Fashion Design at Vilnius Academy of Arts (2018) and currently is a PhD candidate in Design. Author's creative style is bright, surreal and ironic, often using crafts & pink colour. It delves into the themes of activism, consumption and socio-cultural stereotypes.

The designer currently specializes in sustainable fashion. The most famous projects are the experimental collection GIRL POWER and the exhibition Welcome to the Pretty Ugly World.
